Initial dosage of humility

While keeping careful to never step within a three-mile radius of a dataset this past month, I've worked up grand vague dreams of all that I can do with them. Yet since I am deeply a beginner, both at statistics and at programming, the moment I tried starting to implement these ideas, I became overwhelmed and disoriented by the details.

But this challenge is precisely why I love statistics, and why it's so healthy for me: There's so much possibility for application, for exploration, for revision and relearning, and going back and starting the whole thing over again. It's nearly endless.
